I paint flora and fauna as symbols of spiritual growth and the female experience.
Working in oil on linen from my studio in Portland, Oregon, I paint implied scenes rather than literal ones. A bird holding still at the water's edge. Light crossing a surface. The moment just before something changes.

Art built slowly in layers
In March 2026 I spent a residency at Château de Cerisay in the French countryside. The paintings that came out of it are in the French Countryside collection. This experience inspired my paintings on linen vs canvas. It's also where I switched from canvas to linen.
