Jessica Bernert has always been drawn to beauty and structure—first dreaming of architecture, then pivoting to graphic design, where she built a successful branding studio, Pail Design, in 2001. But long before logos and client decks, there was another vision: painting in a garden, sunlight dappled through the trees, brush in hand.

She tucked that dream away. Until she didn’t.

After two decades of leading design projects, Jessica returned to what first called her: painting. Today, she works from her garden studio, surrounded by birdsong and blooming color, painting daily and occasionally partnering with select branding clients.

Her work is rooted in joy, calm, and soulful energy—created with the hope that each piece carries that energy into the world. Her journey is a reminder: even when we delay the call, the soul remembers.
