This original 18x20 oil painting captures a tender farm moment of Addy and her duck. That moment when an animal trusts who's holding them is precious and magical and this painting captures it. The golden hour light that travels through her hair and briefly touches the duck as she tenderly holds himm. Her soft sweater drapes over her shoulder falling off but with no care as the moment requires all of her stillness. Her right hand reaches over carefully as to not startle him.
